Yeah i agree, Garcia is already building his own legacy. Garcia is the new generation and can really become one of our new stars. They always say u cant see the next greats coming, that they just appear on the map and do the unexpected. So far that sounds a lot like Dnny Garcia. Maybe even Josesito Lopez. There are some great fights rdy to pop off right now. The hard working averge kids from the block are taking over!

How so? I saw his team hyping him to knock out kahn but I never heard any of them mention how garcia is capable of blowing out mayweather.

This was a mega fight for their team and they were going to milk it for what it was worth because they knew the whole world would be watching due to how big kahn's name. And potentially garcia had a chance to finally get the recognition he deserves.

Come on they're not stupid and danny is surrounded by family and real friends looking out for him so he makes the best decision on what's right for him. Rather than making decisions on who's going to provide the biggest pay day.

It's possible. Before he fought Ortiz his original plan was to fight Berto(e), but then he got upsetted by Ortiz so FLoyd went with that instead

don't get me wrong..Garcia proved he's world class last night. However, fighting any of the other top guys at 140 would be a pick'em fight for him.

Maidana, Matthysse, Alvarado, Marquez(!) - he could lose any of those fights for a fraction of the money he could make against Mayweather.

Gracia wouldn't even be good enough to a tune up for Mayweather. Al Haymond wouldn't manage him so terribly. Gracia has a lot to improve on.

I don't disagree but at least he's got a good chance with those guys. The more wins the more confidence. If he loses his unbeaten record in a big money fight with mayweather, that's going to put a dent in his confidence mentally.
