Its a real shame what the latest Canelo sweepstakes has led to. For me Garcia and Lopez make nice foils for one another. Lopez says it as it is and Garcia's dad provides a interesting character. Both deserve a fight with one another- big upset wins over Ortiz and Khan make this the case. Whilst I, and I presume many people, would favour Garcia, its a very good fight. Obviously Lopez's big win came at 147 but he showed how he's a natural 140 pounder by coming in at 144.

K9 with 2 wins over Spinks has earned a Canelo shot. Lara's streak means he has earned a Canelo shot. Kirklands win over Angulo and past wins means he deserves a shot at Canelo. Hell give Angulo a shot before Lopez. Not only is Canelo's team dismissing guys who deserve it, who have a earned a big payday, there insulting the sport by making someone put on about 10 pounds to face him. This is a "world champion". So disgusting and it takes away some interesting fights that Lopez could have and could effect his career if Alvarez smashes him.

they shouldnt have made him a world champion if he just gonna duck everyone, worst thing is id favour him to beat Trout, Bundrage maybe Kirkland if hes not in shape but they wont even take any risks

Canelo was set to fight P Will, that fell through. Then it was Kirkland, that fell through. Then it was Ortiz, that fell through.

How can you say that he is dodging or not making the fights we want? You don't think P Will, Ortiz or Kirkland are lagit contenders at that weight.

Let's remember another thing to, boxing is about $$$$$$$$$ so while I agree that Lara is the best option, it isn't a marketable fight and the fact that Top Rank has Chavez Jr v Martinez on the same day, it's a lose/lose situation.

I agree though about Lopez, I would love to see him vs Garcia and think that's a better fight but the fight was already signed with Canelo and the kid is not going to turn down a career payday.

Well its the 3rd sub and its better than Mayorga

problem is he is moving up 2 weights for this

i dont find this to be a horrible fight

and look at 2012 boxing Lopez got the upset, Garcia got the upset, Bradley got the upset, man who knows with the way boxing has been this year
