Does Jim Lampley Need to Get Fired?

I know Tyson is a crazy ******* and all the rest of it but, he really, and i mean really knows his stuff about boxing.

He's fantastic at breaking a fight down, i'd love to see him on HBO.

and to be honest, he seems to be in the frame of mind to do it these days without tearing someones ****ing head off or something like that.

 

That's the thing I used to really like all those guys I still like Max, (because he at least tries to still be honest about what he's witnessing) and Emanuel. But Lederman and Lampley have just turned into old puppets. I never did like Foreman because he was always so biased to the punchers (George calling the Hopkins/Trinidad fight being the prime example. He gave Bernard absolutely no credit till the final round, when the writing was on the wall), but I really enjoy RJJ's commentary (Jones and Tarver have both turned themselves into excellent color-men.) RJJ, Max & the guy from FNF are by far the best team now.

 

Tyson would be a excellent addition to either HBO or Showtime's crew :good

 

Jim Lampley is a goddamn idiot. He said at one point that Amir Khan was taking back control of the fight just before he got stopped when he was doing anything but. I don't even think he knows he's doing it, he's just in this group-think atmosphere where everyone know it's all about hyping HBO/GBP/TR fighters except his Alzheimer's-ridden ass.

By the way, Lampley already got fired once recently.

NBC failed to offer him a renewal of his Olympics anchoring contract. Sadly, they replaced him with worse: Ryan Seacrest.

 

Believe me, I know! I wish HBO broadcasts were like that round 7 of Manny/Bradley, with no commentary, but you can still here the crowd and corner men.

 

Steward is knowledgeable about boxing. I just can't figure out how he didn't see Garcia countering Khan from the very first second with thundering counterpunches. I for one wasn;t shocked at all at the way the first KD came to be. It was pretty obvious from the first round onward.

 

now much fun would it be if he was not like that, you can tell who he is rooting for in the fights.manny will correct sometimes or add more input to it sometimes.but jim always calls shots that dont land and dont say much when his fav gets hit.he did it in khans last 2 fights.

 

This is exactly why people think Bradley only won 1 round, Lampley is a true disgrace.

Steward is the weak link... get rid of him ASAP.
Lamp's tho becoming **** still has a great voice that fit's the action...
Promote Jones Jr. to the main show.

jim is there just there for the casual fan and the theatrics, I still dig it. Steward is the one who needs to get gone
