That's Khan's way of saying: I have no idea how to survive, so I may as well go down swinging and hope for the best

 

One of the funniest things I've seen in a while. He was being chased around the ring on jelly legs eating punch after punch, so what does he do . . . taunts Garcia to hit him on the chin and eats two huge flush right hands, one of which caused an instant big bloody bulge across his nose/eyebrow.

You could see this KO coming from the first round. It was clear Khan was fighting exactly how he's always fought - trying to overwhelm his opponents with fast flurries and not paying any thought to what might come back. Garcia's timing seemed to be great straight from the off, and he was not worried by Khan's power, so he was able to throw big shots once Khan opened up and would either catch him or whistle past his face. It was just a matter of time until one that Khan didn't see found the sweet spot.

I was impressed by Garcia, and he seemed to have Khan figured out even before the fight when he said that if Khan comes out and opens up the he'll stop him in three rounds. Almost a perfect prediction.

Timing beats speed, and unfortunately for Amir speed is almost all he has.

 

I still don't understand how in the fourth round he was getting tagged by those wind up punches. Garcia was telegraphing them so easily.

 

cos his brains were scrambled.

He saw 4 garcia's in there!

 

Garcia was like a world class version of Limond using timing to beat speed

 

Khan seems to think he's a Julian Jackson, talking & acting like he was a bonifide puncher, when he clearly aint.

 

he clearly think's he's a ko artist.

He's not even heavy handed, at all.
