Haye Vs Vitali does not prove who is the best heavyweight in the world, It would be a good exhibition to become a title holder.
Don't recall Haye or Booth denying they had a contract sent to them. They did say the contract wasn't what they were initially told it would be. It has to be right for both parties. As it stands, I don't think Vitali is frightened of Haye. Haye would also be daft to fight him without feeling he's getting rewarded correctly for the risk.
I don't give a **** who you think is #1. Vitali has a belt. If he is unwilling to face a guy who legitimately thinks he can whip his ass for it, then what is the excuse? And why are so many here quick to make excuses about why a HW Titleholder should not face the only guy out there who has even the smallest of chances of beating him? Some people hate David Haye more than they love boxing. They would rather see more boring and dull, meaningless fights like Manuel Charr than to see the biggest fight that can be made right now, which could actually go either way.
