George is the ONLY guy who will call it like it is. Like the time he exposed the fact Lewis had broken Michael Grant's legs.

 Foreman is a dog. I remember when the HBO crew was being biased in favor of Castillo vs Floyd and Foreman had to put them in place.

Its the difference in 'fighters' commentating and someone who hasn't fought and experienced the drama of the ring first hand.

Foreman is honest, the rest are just bias.

Not a Foreman fan. His commentary on Hopkins/Trinidad was some of the worst I've ever heard. He just couldn't admit he was wrong.

George had to fix the Moorer problem himself with the right hand.
What guy in history is a commentator one week and world heavyweight champion the next? George was an OG for sure and he saved Merchant and Lampley from the Bowe-Golota riot as well. George said what he felt,he said it and stuck to it no matter if it was true or not,he stuck to his guns.

Yeah when the riot started there were hooligans and thugs who were going to jump over the barrier and try to get into the ring. Jim Lampley was quoted as saying something like "George single handedly stopped at least 2 or 3 of them from entering into the ring...George protected us...saved our ass."

On the riot video you can hear Foreman clearly barking at some of the hooligans and apparently he had his fist cocked and ready to rock which turned some of the young thugs away. Getting a barefisted Foreman punch to the jaw would mess up your day for sure.

"Dont do it! I know you want to!"
"Don't do it son! Wait a minute it'll be okay!"
"Dont do it! Dont do it!"

Yeah, a Foreman knock to the face is something I'm sure any young punk would rather do without. Lol. :D HBO Teamwork. at it's best.
Foreman on the defense. Merchant, the old goat,on offense (still managed to be snide in the middle of the melee  ).

What is absolutely hilarious is that Lampley pulled out pronto. One moment you hear him ringside with Merchant and Foreman.  the next time you see his ass he's 500 yards away, like his ass had a jetpack :rofl:lol: :D  :rofl
