This is ****ed up, PR talking **** to us... I was being a sport and giving DG his mad props.. and became a fan of him and his style... JMM/DG.... do it!
My Grandfather was there, and was one of the handfull who survived the shootout! Wow, small world. We have more in common than Boxing. I was born and rasied in Ponce...you?
Ill have to politely disagree. We may share a few things in common but that is all. Heritage, genetics, cultural, language (even do its similar but not equal), and the list goes on. Not knocking one or the other but they are not the same.
I guess you watched the wrong fight then, you are probably 100% Puerto Rican and not a trainer, if you were you would tell the truth. I am not a fan of either now days, just telling like it is, Trinidad was pressuring but not scoring enough, remember even Hopkins said he got the blue print on how to beat Trinidad from De La Hoya. Oscar did what he was supposed to do in that fight give Trinidad a boxing lesson, Trinidad was supposed to give him a beating with his power and he never did that through out the whole fight. De La Hoya imposed his style simple as that, Maybe you are Mexican American and you are one of those who hated De La Hoya for beating up Chavez twice and that understandable, there are plenty who never forgave him for that and even Oscar acknowledges it.:good
The Mexico vs Puerto Rican rivalry is a great one, and like Caper said some users can mess around with eachother without resorting to ****ed up insults, others can't. I know we have some Mexican posters who are total douches, but so do the Puerto Ricans. Blackness aka Plaster...Sad is your worst poster by far. That mofo is a racist piece of ****, that doesn't know **** about boxing. The majority of the good Mexican posters on here have given Danny Garcia mad props and have become fans, me included.
mArquez will only fight c+ level fighter this days and avoid any live body that can ruin his future date with Pacquiao.. so forget about him ever fighting Danny.
My immediate family now resides in mayaguez, cosmo and Sabana grande they disbursed after the riots and I had uncles with at least 20 offspring each which just expanded the family territory lmao! It's a small island dude we may be related someway somehow lol!

Damn there's a lot of Mexico vs PR hate on here. I'm Mexican but props to Garcia, I like the kid and think he's a tough fight for ANYONE at 140lbs. Talking trash is cool but you cats need to chill on the racial hatred ****
Here is my analysis: It seems as though Mexicans have an issue with the confidence that Puerto Ricans exhibit. This is often deemed "cocky" "**** talking" or as Chavez said recently during his shitty commentating on national TV " com todos los boricuas... son Creidos" "Like all PRs.. they are too cocky" Ok, so Mexicans wanna walk around looking semi depressed... and have been conditioned to be "humble" or to celebrate the peasant lifestyle etc... That is fine... be "humble" But you cross a line when you try and dictate to another culture how they should be... Herein lies the problem. The mexican will only get along with a Puerto Rican who exhibits zero self love and zero self confidence. NO... Do your humble peasant racist aztec thing, and we PRs will do our pride/swag thing. And yeah, we got the memo...We know all about our "black blood." No need to try and dictate... It is what it is... We LOVE who we are.
