Amir Khan made me a better person. Spilling my true feelings and heart on the matter.

Hey all, Amelia here, big fan of the site. I'm just gonna start off by saying it's gonna be a long long post but I just can't keep it within me anymore.

I am the biggest fan of Amir Khan, not a crazed nut hugger but a legit #1 fan. I watched Amir since he was in the Olympics and I was in the 6th grade.

I remember how I was bullied during summer school and went home hurt and sad every day, until I first saw Amir fight Marios Kaperonis in the 2004 Olympics. I fell in love right away and started cheering for Amir. I didn't even care about the Olympics until that moment. I remember telling everyone at school Amir was my boyfriend and people were like 'who's Amir? is he in our class? .

Things started getting better for me right away, I remember counting down the hours until an Amir Olympic fight and was so excited.

When he lost to Kindelan in the Finals, it was the first time I cried in my life (REAL CRY)won't be the last atsch heh) During my high school years, I took part in volleyball and was active amongst the Drama Club, but my first love was always Amir Khan and watching him fight. It's like whenever I had a bad day, I will root for Amir. Things will never be so bad as long as Amir is fighting and winning.

I remember I always wrote to Amir and he ALWAYS answered back, people say it's his 'agents and hired helps' that is answering the mails back, that could very well be true but in my heart I know it's him. Because no one else but him can write words that can uplift my spirit the way those letters did.



Breidis Prescott was the worst day of my life, I couldn't do anything that entire week. Canceled my dance with a boy I really liked, just couldn't go out or do anything. But I knew he was gonna bounce back ,he apologized during the very next letter that he answered back, how he knew I was such a huge fan and that he promises he will be champion and don't let that lost get me down.

And guess what? He kept his word just like I thought he would and became a world champion.

When that cheating Ped User Lamont beat him, I was more mad then sad, because I knew Amir got robbed. This Garcia fight, I for the life of me did not expect this disaster. It was as if somebody shot me in the heart, to see Amir attempting to stand up again and again as Garcia beat him was heartbreaking, to see Amir attempt to fight on. He went out on his shield, the only way someone should go out in the boxing game, but I wouldn't have cared if he took a knee after even the first round, because I will still be a fan. I know he'll be back

I'm in Uni now and have made many new friends and is enjoying the college experience, but Amir Khan is still as big a part of my life as ever. I know he will bounce back, because I believe in him and he never let me down.

To all these racists, all these haters, all these trolls mocking him and laughing him. You guys are sad individuals.

To all you fake fans, (like the one who went insane during the rbr thread and started mocking a paralyzed boxer) Amir don't need you guys, stop bringing more hate upon him.

I know Amir will bounce back and be champion again, but even if he don't, even if he becomes a journeyman

I will still always be his biggest fan and still support him because he made me a better person just by always being there for me.

 

I lost my cool there for a moment, I apologize to Froch fans, I was just reading some UK YAHOO Comments on Amir and it was filled with disgustingly racist attacks on him and I responded in a bad manner. My Bad. Froch is a great boxer and have lots of heart. Don't mean any insult towards him

Different kinds of crying mate. Crying when I was a little kid was just weakness from being bullied by some ******* girls who all grew up like most of us do once we hit a certain age.

Crying when Amir first got knocked out was on par with a big personal tragedy. That's what I meant.

I don't like boxing, when have I ever wrote I liked boxing? I like Amir. Because he answers my letters and he made me a better person and he got me through hard times by keep encouraging me and giving me positive advice.

If 'Carl Froch' get me through hard times by giving me positive advice. I'll like him. There's probably a Carl Froch fan version of me that wanted great advice from Froch and all Froch gave was probably 'block punches with your face girl, the secret to p4p #1'
