And the Hatton win means very little, because Hatton has been **** for a good while, I said that before, during and after intercourse with that fight and only picked Floyd by KO because I knew Hatton's chin was ****, as Floyd can't punch **** at 147. That's why the win means little.

Bika is a different situation, the worst Calzaghe fighting someone elses fight, Mayweather was the best Mayweather at 147 vs. Hatton and struggling to fight his own fight.

But you need to get off Taylor's case. He is doing the best he can and took a rematch against Pavlik straight away. It was a close fight and the judges called it wide for Pavlik...Taylor showed an improvement in that fight too. He has heart and he is a very decent human being...very dignified in defeat...great attitude...came back stronger, no excuses. Taylor might have been in the laps of HBO for too long but that is not his fault - he's just lucky. He is good for boxing...at least, he is now, after his loss.

 

A win over Hopkins CERTAINLY does not put Joe C above Floyd... It doesn't even put him over Pac until we see his fight with JMM

This whole, "if so and so loses 3 round to so and so, then he moves down if he loses 4 rounds to so and so"... WTF?!? Is that serious?

What about styles? What about a fighter rising to the occassion? What about a fighter having an off night?

Do you guys think that I really hate Taylor that bad? Or do you think it's just apart of the forum personality and that it's provided entertainment over the course.

I certainly don't like Taylor, he was a stain on the sport during his MW reign, but he's meaningless now and will be gone soon. All of the overreacting is just for fun, in the same way that I campaign that Mijares is God.

Mate, you probably haven't noticed (mainly cause i have NO avatar), but I personally have the same little gripe with Calzaghe that you do for Taylor. :yep

I personally can't find TOO many issues with Calzaghe's personality, in reality, and he IS one of the top 5 (top 3) boxers in the world. So where are my issues from? :huh

Still doesn't stop me from bringing him down at nearly every opportunity.
