5 years from now, what will Amir Khan's career be like? Champion? Retired? Gatekeeper? P4P King? None of the above?
He's already about at that stage, only 15 years earlier. He will avoid big punchers like the plague from now on. Thing is, that's not always so easy. The were probably comfortable that Garcia was not such a big puncher. His ko % was not so impressive.
He'll definately be a champ again. Not sure if he can acheive much after that. He has all the tools, except the one thing you cant train. Its sad really. If the guy had a chin he'd be near the top of the p4p charts.
It really depends on what he does now Thankfully he has spoken about (or at least alluded to) leaving Freddie If he gets with Steward it'll go very well
He doesn't listen. He has too much ego. The noise of the crowd gets to him. There is no professionalism. Fix yourself first. Freddie isn't the problem. All the 'yes' men surrounding him are.
Alexander wants to end khans career after he beats bailey, alexander wants khan to move up to welterweight,so he can beat that a** to.
I can see him picking up some more good wins, but sadly, also at least one more loss over the next five years, more likely two. Wont go on much more beyond that, hes a speed fighter and boxer foremost, and once the speed goes it will be tough for him a la RJJ.
He will win some and probably pick up a belt or so, then loose 1 or 2 down the road again, I see him retiring around 30,31.. as a decent world champion who never went onto the elite level as a PPV attraction.
i think he will win a title a lot of ppl have to much invested in him but think he will have a lot of hand picked opponents
