Why Marquez still keeps on chasing Pacquiao?

    Is it for legacy or a final revenge?

    Marquez trainer Beltran says,
    “If Pacquiao wants to prove that he is still in the highest level, he needs to figh Marquez".

    ....and the icing is that he get to climb a ring against a celebrated fighter he knows he will dominate! :deal:deal:deal

    It makes all the sense in the world for Marquez to wait out Pacquiao and pounce on the helpless prey!

    Another reason is he could possibly lose to any top fighter in jr welterweight or welterweight and that ruins his chances at pacquiao.Marquez almost had a scare with katsidis,so he will pick his opponents wisely,until pacquiao fights him again.

    That's ******ed Maidana and Garcia are B level fighters not even close to Pacquiao's who's top 3 p4p.

    If u competed against anyone in anything three times, and do not have an "official" win against them, you would keep going after them also. Arguably, everything else takes a back seat.

    Pure competitive drive for his personal vindication. He wants to beat him to the point wheres there's no controversy

    In the state Morales is in yes it's even tougher on him and he puts younger guys to shame and almost defying the odds, but he didn't win and narrowly, but clearly lost both. There was no public backlash or controversy. Now check this out. Marquez is even OLDER than Morales, is still a top 10, some even have him top 5, p4p fighter in the world, and took Manny to hell 3 times, all of them mostly the last 2 controversially. Sure I give demigawd Morales his respect going against 2 axe murderers not pitty patty weak punching fighters, but Marquez going up against a woodchipper. Pacquiao would obliterate Maidana and Garcia on the same night.

    He wants to be the biggest Mexican star and possibly the best Mexican fighter ever by officially beating Pacquiao. It's pretty damn obvious. He can't beat Floyd. Cotto is too big. So obviously he's going to keep targeting Pac. And why shouldn't he? I don't blame him. He doesn't have many fights left. Beating someone like D. Garcia or Matthysse would be nice but it's not gonna make him a king. Therefore he's going to save all his ammunition for the biggest beast.
