There actually in parts, but best I could find. I put them in order too. Rounds 1-2: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M4w1KUX8Kr0[/ame] Rounds 3, 4 & 5: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-nmp3ZzwY0g[/ame] Rounds 6, 7 & 8: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dSNRum0MlXQ[/ame] Rounds 9 & 10: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3VjNI5-AOLM[/ame] It was a decent fight too.
Very good fighter Theopane. It's a shame he's just lost as he may never get his big break now. Perfect example that it's who, and not what, you know in pro boxing to a very large extent.
I liked how Theophane boxed Garcia, nice head movement, rolling with punches so not getting hit clean often, using his jab, and the right hand found a home on numerous occasions. Very close fight, I think Theo Edged it by a round, so i'm with one of the judges that scored it for Ashley. Garcia did not look much different here and in the Khan fight,he was winging and winding up the hooks and telegraphing them. Theophane is a good operator but he's not world class. But I do rate him, he's got good skills and really decent ring IQ. Just never had any real backing has Theo, done it all the hard way, gone out and trained in tough US gyms, and got on with it like a real pro. But he's a very good operator. Should really be getting better fights.
that was over 2 years ago Garcia is much better now. He won that fight that night too although it was close.
Not really, he looked pretty much the same to me! Still throwing crude shots which he was winding up with and even telegraphing them. he did the same in the Khan fight. He looks for the big hooks far too often. Very easy to tag, considering Ashley had a height disadvantage too, landed near identical amount of punches as Garcia did. Khan was able to tag him enough as well. Khan could have simply out boxed him all night from a safe distance. Garcia will get beat by a boxer with decent skills who won't be getting caught with such silly shots. I think Marquez takes him to school.
