Khan: "I'm happy with Freddie, but going to sit down with team and look at options"

    Just saw the interview with Khan on Sky Sports News, and he also said he'll be fighting again in December. He said he's happy with Freddie, but there are other options out there and he will sit down with his team and decide what they do.

    He also said that he's taking nothing away from Garcia, and that Garcia did what he had to do, but he knows he made mistakes and does not put any blame on Roach, and that it's all his fault and he takes all the blame for the loss.

    He also said that Manny is a great fighter and P4P best fighter, and deserves to have No1 attention from Freddie

    Khan needs a different style to train with. He's not Pacquiao and shouldn't attempt to fight like him. He needs someone to discipline him to use his length and jab. He has the speed and decent pop in his hands to be a range fighter.

    I think Khan will realise his loss was his fault. Not Freddie's.

    Freddie said - in and out, don't trade with him and work the jab.

    Khan just didn't do this...

    Khan just needs discipline - no trainer is going to have a major effect on his technique. His defence cannot and will not change it shall always be basic.

    The only problem with Freddie maybe he expects everything to go to plan? and when the plan fails **** falls apart (unable to clinch etc)

    At this point of his career he will not learn defense, soon as he gets touched on his chin he will go back to his old ways, too many haunting memories.

    Khan is right when he said that he's not getting 100% attention from Roach and has to moved around places just to train with PAC because that's where Roach is. But that's his fault though, Roach is not going to put somebody who will make him only $100,000 in a fight over somebody who will make him 2-3 millions. I think khan just need a new trainer, not saying that Roach is bad for him.

    Steward got Wlad to learn some defense since his KO losses. And where is Wlad now?

    WTF? He's 25 years old, he can still learn. :patsch

    Khan needs an all around trainer. Berenstain would do wonders for him.

    You really think Khan is going to change and learn defense?

    4 years and fck all has changed.

    He needs a new trainer. Roaches top fighters are getting KTFO by lesser skilled and gifted fighters.

    I wouldn't say lesser fighters, just opponents that are able to expose their defensive vulnerabilities.
