Didn't he rip off the team he was coaching a couple years ago? I remember something went on and they took him to court.

 

he was working in a pub & they reckon he coerced some young bloke to show up & rip it off, he'd obviously be there to hand over the money etc & they'd split it, but he was aquitted, so who knows?

Aye, that's it Tyran Smith. They were an exciting team. I like this Everingham kid that's a real nice story. Yeah, i guess i can overlook some of your less salubrious brethren and join you in cheering on the bunnies.....

 

Jason bell was pretty handy too. I think he was a parra jnr but could be wrong.
Funny story regarding tyran smith. When I was a little kid, we went to Newcastle to watch souths play the knights (94 I think it was). Souths won and after the game we saw Allan jones and he shook my hand and thanked us for traveling to watch the team. He then said I could go in the dressing sheds to get autographs. I hurried in there and the first sight thatmet my eyes was tyran smiths johnson.

Yeah jason bell came from Parra - was Penna also at Souths by then? He was gonna be Parra's next big thing.

Yeah, penna was also in that team.
Bell, penna, goldspink, hermanson, field, trindall, Duncan McRae, etc... Was qn exciting little team that one.
