Excellent fight. This is a massive step up for Frampton. Kiko is a real contender in the division and an improved fighter than the one who lost to Munroe. Frampton better prepare properly and acknowledge the magnitude of the challenge he faces.

European and IBF Inter-Continential (whatever that is :nut)

It says Paul McCloskey and Martin Lindsey are also on the bill! Excellent!

I know there was talk that Brian Magee wanted on but isn't sure if he will be.

Only thing I'm annoyed about is it being the same night as Burns v Mitchell and I wanted to go to that.

Frampton has a good head on his shoulders hes not the type to look past an opponent certainly not Kiko Martinez

I think he goes travelling for sparring wherever he can get good sparring, so he seems the type of person who lives boxing and doesn't cut corners

Kiko would be a decent defence for any of the title holders, so if he were to beat him, I'd consider him ready. I'd prefer him to get a little bit more experience though.

well when he fought Kris Hughes, Kris kept going on about how Frampton was looking past him and all Frampton had to say on the case was "trust me, my focus is 100 percent on Kris Hughes and only Kris Hughes"

Frampton isn't that kind of fighter, as you say he doesnt cut corners

Kiko can definitely bang and I reckon he's got the power to stop nearly everyone in the division if he caught them but Carl has the skills to take him to school. Munroes height advantage helped him against Martinez something Carl won't have so this will be a real tough fight.

I'll be there to raise the roof for wee man from my neck of the woods.
