Would it be fair to say Joe Calzaghe number one. Ricky Hatton will be up there. I've heard Micheal Jennings, Scott Quiqq and Joe Murray are monsters. Also Scott Harrison up in the Scottish mountains. Anyone else??

certainly not Haye, he was blowing after 3 rounds with Chisora. Calzaghe is a good shout.

Khan is pretty fit when he lasts the twelve rounds. As shown by his wins against Maidana and Kotelnik.

    Frank Bruno was a monster.

People suggest them muscles cost him in stamina. But I theorise that it was the 'mental pressures' that caused Bruno to struggle late in some fights.

The fights he knew he was going to win, he had no stamina issues even if the bout got into the second half of the fights (Brown, Gross, Bugner, Coetzer, Williams and for nine rounds, Smith). The matches he had trouble stamina wise, were the ones he went into not sure if he could win (Witherspoon, Lewis and to a point, McCall).

Does the OP mean active fighters or the ones from years ago who used to do 20 rounds with 4 oz gloves? Either way, Calzaghe doesn't fall into either category

Rooney, although he reminds me more of a rottweiler/bulldog hybrid.

Superb world class endurance for 90 to 120 min.
