Khan gets a lot of pelters on here,a fair chunk of it well deserved and a fair bit maybe too harsh. But he's on Ringside right now saying it's down to him and him alone.I suppose that's exactly how it should be,but he has a bit of a name for shifting the blame. Pity that his poofter friend is on Twitter stirring up more trouble. The whole Froch debacle is manufactured nonsense. They both have big hearts.Unfortunately for Amir, only one has an iron chin. I've gave him my fair share of pelters too,but I've always tried to be balanced,so only fair we acknowledge he's not playing the blame game. I still don't know where he goes from here.Prescott would be a good start.
Fair play if he's saying that, but it pisses me off how much he says "we" instead of "I". Like "we weren't following the game plan" or "we kept getting hit with shots". No son, YOU didn't follow the game plan etc. etc. But yeah, if he's taking full responsibility then good on him.
I tink he's too long in the tooth to change now. That's why I don't think it's realistic for him to fight at a lower level, because he's always going to be open to wide hooks at the top level.
A lot of fighters use "we". Just as a way of recognizing the team he has behind him. He's not using "we" as if to say "look, they ****ed up, too!" atsch Here's him from a few days. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M0Pn65YLHuo[/ame] Hopefully griff will have the ringside vid up soon.
I understand that and know what you mean. I'm cool with him saying we had a good camp etc. I'm saying he uses that phrase way too much, like "we got hit in the neck" etc.
Most guys take the blame when they get KTFO for making a stupid mistake. Although it's unusual for Khan to blame himself, it's not unusual for anyone else.
