    Yea regardless of how much you hate the man or bring up the barrera loss, he was great for the sport. People try to emulate him but fail miserably. No one currently has anywhere near the pizzazz as Naz

    I'm still not convinced that part of the reason he retired wasn't because he pulled that **** before the MAB fight just before 9/11.
    Think he knew he was finished in America from then on.
    I agree though,much as I found him irritating,he was entertaining.
    Was reading he might get into the HOF next year because it's a fairly weak ballot.

    Greatest featherweight fighter of all time in my opinion. When he was mentally focused no one could beat him. He revolutionized this sport and made the lower weights fun to watch again. We were blessed to see him in his short career its just a shame that he didnt fight longer.

    A legend, a one off, an ATG.

    He'd be a megastar if around today, what he achieved at the age he was is amazing, not that he wasn't big in the 90's but he'd blow everyone else away entertainment wise today, his fanbase would be big, instead he has a bunch of sad bitter little haters talking crap about him.

    Bringing up the Barrera loss is very gay.

    As if losing on pts to a prime ATG when you yourself are not at your best is not a disgrace.

    naz was ****ing awesome. Hooking up with Steward was the worst thing he could have done in his career, besides taking Barrera lightly.

    I think there was a period when people actually believed that Steward was an instant passport to success.:huh
    To me,Naz is one of those guys who you just can't coach.Everything's natural.

    Agreed. Naz left Ingle and hired TWO ****ing trainers :tired For what? His style didn't need correcting. Damn shame I'd have loved to have seen him vs Morales or Pac back then. It was possible if he hadn't have ****ed off with his millions

    He was great, and is still one of my favorites... Simply because he fought in a way that defied the boxing textbook.

    The way he threw his power shots was amazing, using pretty much every muscle in his body to fling himself at you.

    He is a British treasure.
