just a bit from an article

Khan said. "I would take a step back and just start boxing and seeing things more instead of rushing and taking loads of shots. Why fight like an amateur? It was in the back of my mind that I shouldn't do this but then I thought its working for me [so far] so I'm going to stick to it."

Abit late but he still has alot of time left, hopefully he gets the rematch and shots the doubters up once again.

I am sure Khan will chase the rematch hard but I do not think he can change his style. He would need to rebuild and fight a level down for a couple of fights to try things out.

But I think he will go into a big fight right away and might get KO'ed again.

Khan needs to work things out, get a new trainer work on his flaws and fight weak opposition at home, than come 2014 he can try beating the top guys, but he shouldn't rush anything, fighting Garcia again later this year would be a huge mistake IMO.

Let's just hope he doesn't go all Wlad and refuse to engage.

Nazim's a good choice but I don't think Tabares should be blamed. He doesn't train people to rush in and leave their hands down after throwing punches.

Then again, I wasn't the one trained by Tabares and Ariza.

He just doesn't have enough punch resistance. He can change his style and do what he's supposed to do but he's always going to get hit hard. It's like the case of Cotto vs. Marg (part 1). Doesn't matter what Cotto would've/could've/should've done in that fight. He was going to get KOed due to the pressure and inability to take clean, hard punches for 12 rds. Matthysse, Rios, Maidana, Alvarado...all these guys are pressure fighters who can punch at 140. But we'll see. I expect Khan to take on a soft touch in his next fight.

First he needs a new trainer who can teach him proper footwork. Khan IMO has some of the worst footwork of a so called elite fighter that I've ever seen. He needs to learn how to strategically clinch and fight on the inside. He needs to learn how to break his man down an not throw some many meaningless punches. Lastly he needs to work on his defense. Don't know if he can improve on these things but it's worth a try.

Khan can't fix his biggest weakness. He has no punch resistance. Hit him once and he goes into panic mode. Every hard puncher he's faced has done this to him and if he ever plans on venturing past 140 for big money fights or trying to challenge Garcia again this issue is going to come up and he will fail.

Easy ta understand why you say this, A. Think there's any chance in the world he could resurrect himself as Wlad Klit's done after being destroyed the same way Khan has?
