for a fighter, i believe you fight with what you naturally have. if your testosterone level decreases as you age, then so be it.
what is next? what other 'help' or 'supplement' will be available if a fighter feels he is lacking in something?
something to counter or slowdown the aging process in some way?
maybe they think that if it already exists in the body naturally, then there is no harm in taking the stuff?
    "its natural!"

When are you going to get it through you brick head that any man regardless of reason, is permitted to seek medical attention for their low levels? Deal with it. It's not going away.

And when are you going to understand that's a STUNNINGLY naive argument that completely ignores the obvious loophole. Its clear even to dead and blind Ray Charles that TRT is being abused. So when you get that through your brick head let me know juice boy. :thumbsup
Turns out Dana and Lorenzo agree with me....Not going away aye....Oops...

You know what you're actually stupid. So its ok when a doctor prescribes them but not ok when you self 'medicate'. Sign out you dolt.:lol::lol:

The specter of performance-enhancing drugs is very high in elite-level sports. The desire to win and be rewarded – especially financially – has further fueled the "win at all costs" and "if you're not cheating you're not trying hard enough" mentalities.

Testosterone-replacement therapy (TRT) primarily is intended to treat fairly uncommon conditions of teenage boys who were not maturing properly because of genetic abnormalities, chronic illness, pituitary-gland dysfunction, testicular trauma, etc.

The legitimate use of TRT, as it pertains to elite-level athletes, is a relatively new phenomenon – and potentially a very slippery slope and ripe for abuse.

The normal range of testosterone is quite broad (250 to 800 ng/deciliter), and it varies by time of day and age of the subject. Testosterone levels normally decline with age. Diagnosis is not simply related to results of the blood test. Multiple vague subjective symptoms (as told to the doctor by the patient but cannot be objectively proven) are also taken into account when making the diagnosis.

Many men in their mid-40s and early-50s, rightly or wrongly, are diagnosed and treated for low testosterone (low T) because they want that old "fire" back. Big pharma has spent a fortune on marketing to convince this demographic of men that they are suffering from "male menopause" and can live a much happier and more vigorous lifestyle by purchasing and taking their drugs. Rrrr!

If this true then I smell something rotten. All hormones should be illegal in pro sports.

assuming marquart is now clean, he's like living proof that trt isn't necessary for a lot of these guys (i.e, although you have to claim u can't perform without it, nate shows you can and even if you've been on it before and even at age 33 - same as forrest)

    :rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl

The fact is, Dana dosent like Tito, he puts on a fake smile while the cameras are on. Tito was in the last fight of his contract with the UFC and would not be re signed. Dana would have loved nothing more than to have Tito lose his last fight so he tried to give every advantage to Forrest to beat him. Pathetic really.........

The only thing that is a joke is that guys try to pretend they just have low test and that it's not about trying to get a performance advantage.

However, some guys do have naturally higher testosterone than others, and some have lowish levels. Why not use TRT until you are at the legal limit? These guys are putting their health on the line for money, of course they are going to get ahead any way they can.

No one should be allowed trt. If you need this **** to fight then you shouldn't be fighting. The ufc is a haven for athletes that want to juice legally or illegally. The ufc could easily say no trt allowed but that's against there interests. They don't care about drugs in mma.
