It was GBP that let Hatton keep all the GLOBAL rights, you're dealing with "Planet America" mentality here:yep

GBP realised they'd dropped an absolutle mega financial clanger once they'd realised how popular hatton actually was. Around 40,000 from around the globe flew into Vegas to support Hatton with most obviously with no tickets & drank the place dry, but thats the yank arrogance for you thinking it's all about them:lol:

Thats why DLH was on the 1st plane over after the Mayweather fight too sign Hatton up to get GBP set in place for the DLH/Hatton fight at wembley & the Mayweather re-match in the UK or Ireland & suck up all that money but along came a certain Mr Manny Pacquiao to obliterate said plans:D

The **** are you blathering about? Khan beat an Irish no hoper and a shot to **** Barrera who was fighting in the wrong weight class to "earn" his title shot after he lost to Prescott.

I guarantee you that Khan made more money in his first ten or so bouts against **** opposition than Berto did in twice as many fights.

Whats money got to do with it ?Khan had decent opposition. If the irish no hoper you're referring to is Michael Gomez he was ****in fearsome in his day.

The guy that I was responding to wrote this:

No, I was referring to ***an. ***an and Barrera were the only people that Khan fought between getting KO'd by Prescott and getting a title shot at 140. Did you even bother reading my post in the context of what I was responding to before quoting me?

He fought Gomez beforehand then, proving BB's point even further.

StClare was also recognised as a big step up for Khan. He dominated him.

I remember Hatton was considered a favourite even by ESB Brits. And ppl complain about Khan being hyped by the british media!

I knew he'd lose but to be fair he was undefeated ,armchair fans may have thought he'd win but those in the know knew he'd struggle with Floyd
