    Shut the **** up. If you don't have massive respect for Genaro Hernandez and Chico Corrales then you weren't a boxing fan when they were around. They were ****ing BEASTS. Manfredy isn't on their level but he's a step above Gatti and beating him is no joke. Carlos Hernandez and Jesus Chavez were also very very tough dudes at the weight and are VERY good wins.

    If you actually think pbf who had some of the best footwork and best lateral movement in the history of the 130 pound division would get trapped in a corner by Duran a fighter who struggled against speed and movement you're delusional. Pbf would give Duran fits with his speed defense and lateral movement.

    Marquez would be the bigger man on fight night. Could he impose his weight on a still young Floyd? Would be interesting.

    Floyd's highest in ring weight at junior lightweight was 138 against Manfredy He was 136 against Chico and 137 an 1/2 against Jesus Chavez..

    Marquez was 138 against MAB and 141 against Manny.


    I have a feeling Marquez would be bigger come fight night. Floyd wasn't physically peak at this weight so I really wonder if Marquez could muscle him.

    Styles make fights. JMM and his fighting style has almost no required tools to beat Floyd:

    * shorter reach
    * counter puncher fighting against bigger, longer counterpuncher
    * no offensive footwork to close gap between him and Floyd
    * he has one the best combinations in the game, but is of no use if Floyd is not even there
    * very uncomfortable initiating his own offense
    * hand/foot speed slower than Floyd

    Floyd could beat JMM in any weight class with just the left hand jab and not allowed to throw with the right.

    All these traits of JMM are the complete opposite of Pac's skill sets.

    That is why Floyd continues to duck Pac.... styles make fights.

    Marquez is not at effective at 135lbs and higher so I30lbs or 126lbs version of jmm for the matter will school floyd. I'm just being objective here. Coming from a fan of timothy bradley.

    Bradley vs JMM at 126 or 130lbs... I must admit JMM wins this one but at 135lbs or heavier Bradley wins. :hey

    i'm gonna have to say that Floyd was a more effective fighter @ 130 then present.... that was when he had good KO power at weight class

    I would never view JMM's ability based on his actual performance will Floyd simply because he was sluggish at any weight over 140lbs. Like I said if he fought Floyd at 126 to 130lbs he will school floyd.
