If Manny Stewart was training Lil Floyd, would FMJ be more dominant?

I think it's about comfort in the corner. Nobody makes Floyd more comfortable than Roger. It would probably be about the same as far as results go imo.

He would pump the jab more and move more, Floyd would remain the same, but wouldn't be quite the draw, cause of the boring Stewart style. Floyd is a fighter he loves to mix it up every now and again while completely disregarding everything Roger tells him, that wouldn't happen with Stewart

I was wondering why he was hating on Mayweather. Seeing who he has as an avatar, I assumed he was a fan of slick defensive boxers.

Steward is overrated and none of his fighters know what to do inside....just like Roaches' guys...

Steward didn't help Jermain Taylor or Andy Lee....or any of the other FLOPS he trained.

No, Steward isn't as good a trainer as Uncle Rog, at least not with a fighter like Floyd

Floyd is more advanced than Steward.

It would be like Einstein needing Physics help from that cripple in a wheel chair.

Steward is good for one thing, training big tall heavyweights.

    And shining Lampley.

I think Floyd is best off with Roger. Roger is best when he has a fighter who's a blank slate like amateur fighters or young kids. If you get an already seasoned fighter and put him with Roger, they may not accomplish much more.
But look at the young fighters now and others he's had since they were young and you can see the affect

He wouldn't have been as versatile imo.

More focus on jabbing and outside boxing

Fun fact Steward offered to train Floyd coming out of the Olympics. Floyd wanted no one to train him but his family
