Now now girls don't get upset, It's not my fault that " The **** " couldn't raise enough interest in a fight because he's lazy and boring to watch!!:|

Calzaghe could be a million years old and still beat Froch, Froch talks a good fight but very rarely delivers one. Like the phenomenal performances against Andre Ward (Not!) Jermain Taylor (Definately Not!!!) Jean Pascal (Made hard work of that one!!) I always like to see British boxers do well in front of a world audience but sadly Carl " The **** " Froch has let his fans and supporters down on to many an occasion. :|:|:|

Hmm... yeah, the Taylor and Pascal fights were crap weren't they?

    Both FOTY contenders

I agree with Froch on this, but Cleverly has only done what he had to do. Froch doesn't help himself with some of the comments he makes, he'd be a lot more popular if he behaved like he did on Ringside with Calzaghe.

Exactly. Joe would just make him look silly over the full 12 rounds unlike Ward who was missing his magic California juice in the Super Six final so fell apart over the last 3-4 rounds. I like Carl but he knows Cleverly is a big fight for him if the Hearn/Fwank divide can be overcome, even though Carl deep down knows 175 is a step too far and knows Calzaghe would've heavy handedly "slapped" him to death at that weight

:-( Your a spastic, Cleverly is a big fight for Froch? :rofl Cleverly has no fan base... has fought nobody above European level, and clearly got outboxed for several rounds by Tony Bellew, pitting Carl Froch in with Nathan Cleverly is like having a fully grown man fight a 12 year old boy, Froch could out box him for 12 rounds Calzaghe-Lacy style, or go forward and just beat the **** out of Nathan.

And as for Calzaghe, he was a superior fighter to Froch IMO, but a lot of people seem to think Joe would school Carl, I just don't see it, Calzaghe had a fair few struggles with far less accomplished fighters then Froch..I'd pick Calzaghe on points maybe 8-4 or 7-5, Froch would definitely be a live underdog.

When did Calzaghe slap anyone to death at light-heavy? And you like Carl? That's a blatant lie, a lot of people try and do that when to try and justify a statement, mongole.

Yes I do like Carl, he's always been very approachable. Cleverly's last fight filled the Cardiff arena - that's only 5-6,000 but not bad considering he was fighting a bum. And Froch always wanted a big domestic fight. Now go inflate your girlfriend and let off some of that pent up steam

It wouldn't even be that big a fight, Froch only fights the best, while Cleverly fights bums :yep

Andre Ward is the world champion @ 168.

Carl Froch has the third most prestigious belt. Personally, I'm old school and only recognise the WBA/WBC.

I totally agree with assessment of Cleverly's "world champion" status though.
