You have to love the drama. I've been a fan of Broner... but he's acted like a complete clown... and I'd like to see him get a nice beating.

Surely trying to gain an unfair weight advantage shows more fear than what Escobedo's did?

Not that I think Broner was afraid of Escobedo's but you cant say he was scared since he made weight and was ready to fight, untill Broner decided to become a light weight early.

Also he now makes far more money than he would have otherwise so it all work out good.

I bet HBO guaranteed him another date regardless of the outcome of this fight.

This is what I was saying all along. This is the best thing that could have happened to Escobedo.

Fair play to his team. They knew what htey were doing all along. Who knows what else they got out of this - another HBO guaranteed date? BEST thing that could have happened to Escobedo, since he was likely to lose anyway.

400 g's for Esco and Broner's not allowed to weigh more than 148 on fight night, according to the Scene.

Looks like Esco played his cards right :happy

400k I would make the fight happen for that. Bad look for Broner, but Excobedo is getting a career payday and Broner will move up to 135.
