Its not just the personality that is getting him shitted on. He's got an engaging personality that could be good for the sport. More then anything its the lack of professionalism. Rios has a very likable personality and everyone still shitted both times he missed wt. Plain and simple people hate it when a fighter misses wt.

We don't need to be black and white about this whole thing. Its okay to be pissed off right now and hope Broner gets his head kicked in....Their is nothing wrong with being angery about a guy being unprofessional. That doesn't exclude us from potentially rating him highly one day. Erik Morales, Duran, Mayweather and others who've all had wt issues have the luxury of having a body of work to evaluate so history doesn't **** on them for a couple of bad nights at the scales. That doesn't mean they weren't **** on the night they all missed wt. Cause they were. One day Broner might have enough going for him to be favourably looked upon. But that basically that has nothing to do with the here and now. The main thing I'm worried about when hating on broner is the safety of his opponent. So ****'em and the horse he road in on. You don't have to be unquestionably for a guy every night of his career just because you like him. Nor do you have to write him off forever...but that being said if Escobedo gets seriously hurt it'll be a long road back in my books for Broner.

 

I've followed Gamboa since fight number 1. Gamboa has never been hurt. Gamboa will K.O Broner.
