I hear that Carl " The **** " may be up for a rematch with Mikkel Kessler ?, about right for Carl to take on a champion at the end of his career and make out that he should of got the decision the first time round what a gimp!!
If he doesn't go for the Kessler bout I hear that there is a choice of Thomas Oosthuizen or Kelly Pavlick, well we all know that Carl " The **** " Froch isn't going to take on Pavlick because that would be a fight that he's got as much chance of winning as Joseph Fritzel being awarded the best dad in the world trophy.
Keep chatting the **** about Cleverlly and keep the focus off the fact that if you hadn't beaten Lucian Bute you would be sat at home watching bargin hunt talking about how you were the " Legend " Carl Froch.:|:|:|

The Cobra would land some good shots, and could frustrate Joe at times, Froch has an excellent jab. But ultimately even Carl admits he can't win a decision over Calzaghe (see last weeks Ringside). He says he would have to catch up to Calzaghe and knock him out, now Calzaghe was never stopped as an Amateur or a pro, his fitness was immense so you're not going to wear him down, and he took big punches off big punchers (Jones, Eubank, Kessler, Lacy, Byron Mitchell) and never got stopped. Calzaghe would outpoint Froch widely, I could see him winning as wide as 9-3 on the cards. 7-5 is too close, I don't see Froch winning that many rounds. No chance of a stoppage either way, both guys are too tough and durable.

I see what you mean about Calzaghe struggling with the likes of Reid, where he got hit with the right cross repeatedly, Froch's best punch is his right cross and I could see him catching Joe with it on the button a few times.

But Calzaghe doesn't panic and can switch from slugger, to swarmer to boxer, he has too many gears for Froch. It would be a cracking fight though. Shame Joe wasn't 5 years older or 5 years younger, could have seen him in some great match-ups.

Good analogy about Froch-Cleverly, at this moment NC is a novice, and would be completely out of his depth against Froch, who has been in with some of the best fighters in his division. Do you think we'll see Froch step up to LHW? I'd like to see a rematch with Pascal, the first fight was a barnburner! I'd also love to see Froch rematch Kessler, if that fight is in Nottingham I'll definitely be getting tickets, especially as I missed out on Froch-Bute due to work commitments :|

These days, in my opinion the fighter makes the belt. Doesn't matter if it's a WBC, WBO or whatever, it depends on who the belt-holder has fought, and who he's defended against.

The champion makes the belt not the other way around.
