Back to the actual topic at hand though, and Froch is a fitness freak. He rarely strays far over the super-middle weight limit.

Well you'd be wrong there, prof.

This was a close fight ( a draw, IMO), that could have gone either way. Neither man distinguished himself that night. Froch got the W , therefore it is definitely Dirrell who needs the rematch.

Considering Dirrell is battering down Froch's door with demands for a rematch and his star is at an all-time high whilst Froch is clearly a spent force and a laughing stock amongst the majority of sensible boxing fans, then it's clear Froch wants no part of it.
I have a rare form of dyslexia by the way.I tend to get my boxers mixed up.

I thought everyone knew Dirrell won, including Rachael Cordingley. Didn't realise it was controversial, oh well I guess there are wacko conspiracy theorists for everything.

comes across as a wiseguy to me. He made a statement a few weeks back about how he's in boxing to be at the top, not be an opponent for others to beat on

What Froch really needs to train are his balls, he needs to strenghten them, condition them, make them grow bigger...

Perhaps then he'll stop ducking this man

Yeah, because he ducked Kelly "Budweiser" Pavlik and instead went for easy paydays against nohopers and neverhavebeens like Abraham, Ward, Kessler and Bute :nut

That was then, this is now. The Froch from a couple years ago ducked nobody, but I think his balls have progressively shrinked from 2010 onwards

Point is, he said his next fight before the Kessler/Bootay rematches was going to be Pavlik, Pavlik was ready for him and the fans were expecting the fight, but it turns out Froch chickened out at the last moment and prefered a soft touch instead, a bumbeater no hoper called Osthiuzen...

Those are the actions of a man with small balls and no word.:-(

I think all fighters should do something like this and once they can see that they are not performing aswell as they used to then they know that they aren't prime anymore.

Didn't know that Froch bailed out of the Pavlik fight. Would have liked to have seen this one.

This said: Froch fought the best opposition available for 3.5 years straight: Pascal, Jermaine Taylor, Andre Dirrel, Kessler, Abraham, Johnson, Ward, Bute. That's a hell of a resumee. Give this man an easy fight in between.

About Pavlik: sorry, but I could not resist:
