This is the biggest heavyweight fight out there.

Do you think it will happen?

    What happens if it does?

I think Haye would stop vitali late but after being dropped himself.

I can't see Vitali dropping Haye.

He has slowed down something aweful.

I really think this is Haye's fight as long as he commmits and goes for it.

I'm not sure it happens, but if it does, you have to give Haye a shot.

To me it depends what Haye shows up, he needs to be a MIX between the Valuev Haye and the Chisora Haye.

Keep to the outside, make Vitali follow him around, but when he comes in he HAS to make it count, no flopping on the floor and that ****, he has to let punches go.

Vitali is SO SLOW, and the power isn't what it was, the only way Haye ends up on the canvas is if he makes silly mistakes, because IMO Vitali is not landing clean, with a hard enough shot to drop Haye.

Vitali, at THIS stage is a far easier assignment than Wlad was.

If you watch round 1 here

you will see the tactics Haye must use, Vitali is a LOT slower than he was here, 13 years and numerous injuries have stiffened that old body up something shocking, and imo he doesn't have the same one shot power that got to Herbie in the second round.

12 rounds of that from Haye and he hands Vitali his first legit loss, easier said than done..... but not impossible

I actually think Vitali may have caught a break when Solis knee imploded...

50/50 fight, If Haye is going to stop Vitali he needs to come out fast and preferably not tire by round 5, if he tires, he's ****ed.
He won't be able to pot shot Vitali who no doubt has an even better chin than Chisora, so will have to remain active, and throw
    alot of shots.

  6. Haye probs would gas tbh

He just doesn't have the stamina to do 12 hard rounds with even a 41 year old vitali

Haye starts brightly but gets clubbed in about the 6th

Depends on which Haye turns up, but IF it happens then now is his best chance to beat him.

Haye needs to back Vitali up to stand any chance against him but haye's a back foot fighter only

Agreed, he can go 12 when not much is happening, wlad and valuev for example but vitali is going to go at him from the opening bell, haye doesn't have the chin for the chisora approach so he's going to have to box smart, punches in bunches and make them count. Can't afford to punch thin air and tire out in this one. Haye has gone the distance ... 3 times? once at cruiser twice at heavy, but he struggles.

Vitali has really slowed down and it looks to have hurt his power. Every shot used to register but now it seems not so much. He is still a difficult fighter to beat but speed kills.

For Haye, he absolutely melted on the biggest stage of his life and it could happen again versus Vitali. He also hasn't perfected moving throught the gears after all these years and thus gasses (even though he can still pull out a victory while tired ala Chisora).

Chisora slapped him and spat at his brother but it did little to get him going. He is now a businessman and a politician. The angry man who fought Lewis and got annoyed at Sanders is no more.

Maybe Haye will bring it out of him but he seems older physically and less willing mentally.

I like David Haye he's brought a bit of interest to a pretty boring division over the last few years, not to say that his display against Vlad was **** poor but a strong show against Vitali could give him the confidence to give us boxing fans the fight we want to see which is a real tear up rematch with Vlad.
The only way David can beat the jab and grab brothers is to train hard for twelve rounds and go for the knock out from the first bell neither of the Ukraine tag team like to be put on the back foot and Vitali is well past his best.:good

    ^^^^^^^^

Haye Almost need to train like Clubber Lang in his first fight with Balboa, **** Adam Booth off out of it, and train in a garage with nothing but a heavy bag and some ropes tied to the ceiling, proper old school like

By the way I don;t think confidence was an issue in the Wlad fight, i genuinley think the gameplan was to go in there, hang around and wait for Wlad to make a mistake, **** winning rounds, just wait till he makes a mistake and then bomb him out

12 rounds later, Wlad has not made a mistake.

if they did get it on again, I think Haye goes for it this time, and gets KO'd. The only way anyone would beat Wlad is to be the same or simmilar size as him, with a bit of robustness and not be as slow as molasses, and just walk through the jab and clobber him, exactly the same thing sanders did. Haye is too small and not robust enough to do that

The fact is that Haye can box but didn't use any of that skill when he got in the ring, your right about him waiting for a mistake that didn't come but I still think that Haye has got speed and a knock out punch that can come at any time, the down side is that he lacks stamina and has a bit of a suspect chin but has in the past been put down and got up and won the fight. I think that if Haye goes all out and commits 100% he's got a good chance but if he let Wlad dictate the fight and keep it at distance it's the last chance he'll have.:good

Vitali wants to hurt him, can't really see him hanging about to be honest.
