he needs to sort out his training team/camp first. Then sort himself out.
His next opponent should be paul mccloskey..

    Garcia. Correct that little aberration.

I just watched the Garcia-Khan fight in it's entirety. It really wasn't as bad as people were saying. I may even go as far as to say I was impressed with how Khan tried to stand his ground while hurt instead of run in the fourth at times.

Amir should continue to stay at 140. I feel he can regain what he lost but before that, a couple fights at home shall do him good. Garcia is an excellent fighter, knew he was good.

    Garcia rematch.

If Khan can't beat a Garcia then he should just retire, Khan if gets his head right should beat Garcia straight forward.

i watched it again properly and i agree, Khan had the advantage but wasted it. When he foolishly went to scrap in round 4, garcia was missing and looked rugged but enough to compose himself.
Khan should gain more fans after getting up and giving it back!

True. I watched it again myself and Khan was impressive for 2 rounds and most of the 3rd. Garcia and his team were panicking by the end of the 2nd and Garcia also had the cut over his rigth eye. Khan could have simply worked on that cut (left hand jab) and got a TKO victory. BUt he gave it away by going toe to toe. Needs to work on defense asap.

I don't think Garcia will take the fight and I want Khan to step up to 147. Would also like to see him work on power along with defense.. nothing wrong with working on some power left hooks of his own.

Garcia has power but he's very slow.. don't see him going too far, a Mayweather or Pacman would eat him for lunch...

khan's problem was ignorance and over confidance, i believe that problem will have been well and truely solved now. not for the first time he has been brought back down to earth but after the prescott ko he has been very impressive because of consintration, he knows the flaws in his makeup and he made sure they wasn't exposed. after maidana he developed arrogance after his suvival and during peterson fight he showed ignorance to his corners gameplan! im 100% confident khan will be world champion again but as well as beating any of the top ten fighters he could also lose to anyone! still good boxer to watch and fights are always exciting.

  9. Garcia is really nothing too special imo, just a solid fighter with a dig, so let's not pretend Khan lost to a true great, conversely on the plus side I don't rule out Khan avenging that loss down the line

As for what's next, I'd go Theophane, they can market Theophane being "robbed" against Garcia into some bizzare triangle theory

So you think its a horrible fight because Amir cant handle a certain type of fighter and could lose ...

Not because they have contrasting styles etc ,:rofl

It's the first time I've said this, but I think Khan should consider Prescott.

Until now, apart from immediately after the first fight, it's not made any sense.

Now it makes perfect sense to me - it's a safe-ish comeback fight and a revenge mission at the same time.

  12. I really don't think he's a safe option at all, I'd lump big on Prescott to crack that chin again with straight punches, I'd give Khan a better chance to avoid Garcia hooks

Fighting Prescott, he could be winning rounds easily, but he'd still eventually decide he wanted to prove he can take Prescott's shots. He wouldn't be able to help himself.

There's no rush. Take a couple of fights, then look to start avenging losses. Peterson will probably be cleared to fight again by that point.

Really 'getting respect' is the least of his worries.

This, at some stage Khan would get overconfident, or simply forget to stick to the plan, and then this happens

As long as Prescott don't land on Khan's NECK he'll be ok :yep
