Hagler. He had one of the top 10 chins of all time along with Greb, Robinson, Chuvalo, etc.

Hagler. I've seen Hagler a little buzzed in a couple fights, but never legitimately knocked down the way Hopkins has been.

Hopkins had a great chin and was a bit better at protecting it, but Marvin's chin was basically as good as it gets.

I would say Hagler but Hagler was knocked down by I think it was Hamsho or Antoufermo I'm not sure which put him down but one of them did.

those hearns bombs that hagler took early on in that war would've at least knock hopkins down.

Hagler was officially dropped by Roldan, but it was more like a "pull-down".

Both Hagler and Hopkins had effective defenses, but Hagler took some very hard shots from Mugabi, Hart, and Hearns and stayed on his feet.

Hagler had the superior chin IMO.

Hopkins has a solid chin but I've seen him shake his head a few times.
Hagler walked through a prime Tommy Hearns like he was Willie Limond. We're talking about one of the truly legendary chins against one of the best of the last 20 years.
    Has to be Marvelous.

Hopkins is just better defensively, or applying dirty tactics. Seriously, it's hard to find any video of Hopkins getting hit with huge shots.

I'm going based on styles, Marvin was in the trenches & got his chin tested alot more than Hopkins. Hagler also faced a couple monster punchers & manged to hold up well.

By default I give it to the Marvelous one.

Hagler stayed up against bigger punchers.

Hopkins went down several times to lesser punchers.

Hopkins was probably a bit better at protecting his chin. He never really got hit with the bombs Hagler took.
    Hagler chin > Hopkins chin
