Golota has a good chin I think. All of his blow-outs are first round, accumulation of multiple hard fast punches.

Each time he visited canvas, everytime he got up.

    Golota hasn't really been KO'd.

If Golota has a bad chin so does Sam Peter.

How does Sam Peter have a bad chin? He's only been down 3 times, and never been TKO'd/KO'd, Golota has been 4 times, not counting the Bowe fights. Sam Peter and Golota are worlds apart as far as there chins are concerned, Golota and Wlad are a better comparison.

Peter fought Wlad and that's it.

    Golota fought several HOF'ers.

HUGE difference in level of competition.

I never said Peter had a bad chin. I only said that if you think Golota has one, than you think Peter has one too.

And why would you even consider counting the Bowe fights? He hasn't been TKO'd or KO'd in either of them.

Bad chins are defined as Zakman would put it. Someone who goes down and doesn't get back up.

A good indication of a solid chin is someone who can take a massive punch and continue fighting. Whether or not they actually got knocked down is irrelevant.

    I agree to that.

    I don't see how Golota has a bad-chin.

He changed his standard when his boy went down.

Peter going down 3 times against McCline shut his and Amsterdamn's mouths up.

I dont count the Bowe fights, all I was saying that a guy that has been TKO'd/KO 4 times, and has hit the canvas as many times as he has, should not be considered as having anything more than a below average chin, his stats are comparable to Wlads at the moment.

Jesus christ Golota has fought Bowe twice, Brewster, Lewis, Tyson, who has Peter fought exept for Klitschko who didnt want to commit to his punches to pace himself. You are looking at the statistics only. One only has to look at the big punches Golota traded with Bowe and the flush shots he absorbed in other fights. If anything his defence is really bad but not his chin. Wlad only absorbed few punches in a fight and fights cautiously. Golota goes to war and trades punches.

Actually not. Golota sometimes has a very good chin and he sometimes appears not to have a good chin. I think it is dues to nerves, being too tight.

He's been down a fair few times, but then look at who put him there...Bowe, Lewis, Grant, Tyson and Brewster, not a feather-fisted line-up.

I think his chin is pretty decent, his problem has been more mental.

KO'd by one punch a number of times?

He was never KO'd by a single punch.

How many Golota fights have you actually seen?
