Yes it would be a smart fight as there's no names at 130 for him. Broner said he's up for it so let's do this. Gamboa is a better win for Broner than any of the guys fighting at lightweight now. Lightweight division is pretty **** at the moment. It was quality a while back when Marquez, Guerrero and Valero were knocking about there.

how much do you think Gamboa would weigh on fight night? You really want to see him KO'd? Gamboa has been knocked down by cab drivers

I'd say he'd weigh in about 143 probably giving away 5 lbs or so to Broner. Gamboa has been knocked down but never really hurt. That said, he definitely doesn't have an iron chin, but all he has to do is box clever. He has better footwork, speed and skill than Broner.

They have one common opponent. Broner lost to that one (in the eyes of practically all non black people), while Gamboa hardly lost a round.

I want to see good fighters fighting each other. It's a more intriguing fight than anyone currently campaigning at 135.

Rios is just telling it like it is. Those who thought this fight would happen would be wishful thinking at best. Top rank and GBP aren't working with each other.

Broner won that fight. Also you dont think Broner has gotten better since then?

Gamboa was just fighting at 126 you think he would weigh 143 fight night isnt the guy like 5'5?

If it happens Gamboa is getting KO'd Floyd has talked about the fight but Broner is progressing a lot I dont think TMT promotion will want that fight.

Like I said, in the eyes of all non black people. You have no perspective when it comes to black American fighters.

Broner has definitely improved. Doesn't suddenly make him Floyd.

I've read Gamboa walks around over 150 between fights. He's known to cut a lot of weight. He's a chunky fella. Cotto is an inch taller and look where he's campaigning.

who said Broner was Floyd? Floyd is ATG Broner is a 22 year old kid. Like I said I doubt the fight gets made because TMT just invested a lot of Money in Gamboa and Broner would put him to sleep

People were absolutely pissed at Rios, they shitting all over him. He missed weight for the second straight fight, and came back heavier on his retry. There wasn't much post fight anger due to the fact that he was the benefactor of one of the worst decisions in recent memory, that became the focal point.

If he had trouble with a poor man's version of the shoulder roll (Abril), Rios would get absolutely embarrassed and likely KOed by Broner. Doesn't mean I don't want to see it and this "feud" between GBP and TR can never be justified.
