Finally I esb boxing fans who share my opionion: Fight was very exaiting in a tactical point of view. I was very impressed by both of them. To me it just seem so unjuctice to blame Wladimir or Haye for not trying cos they really did good. Very good analysis. Thanks mate!
:deal That's what makes me laugh about the 'Haye running' ****. It completely undermines a lot of Wlad's good work in that fight. He put Haye under immense pressure behind the jab - as vidic says, keeping him occupied and pinned bag with his jab and feints and slowly edging him backwards and pinning him against the ropes and keeping him trapped there.
great thread vidic 100% with it... i still maintain haye trained to avoid being knocked out and hope one shot could actually take wladimir out which it couldnt.. live to fight another day.and guess what its worked.he has already suckerd everyone into his way of thinking yet again.lol but again great ****ing post my man..
They were both hurt in the 12th, be good to have gif of those shots :thumbsup That right hand Wlad landed at 13:33 of this video was NASTY... a lot of people didnt notice that punch.. haye didn't see it coming either... haye needs respect for taking that one :thumbsup [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=elkj-nroI40[/ame]
Yeah I have been saying this since the fight happened. To me it was a tactical fight where one guy used his natural physical advantage to keep the other from ever getting the only shot he had at winning. I enjoy tactical chess matches as much as I do slugfests. I watch boxing for the skill, strategy, and gamesmanship moreso than just for the violence. Those who say David merely ran the whole fight are either already biased, or didn't really watch it.
Cheers all who read/enjoyed :good If anyone wants em still when I have a some time spare I'll post the gifs of all the good shots in the fight, been posting from my phone/ipad a lot this week so haven't been able to do too much
Cheers man Also though he got s lot of stick for it I think Haye did very well to negate wads holding (by dropping to one knee) far better than to have Wlad lean all his weight on him and drain his strength - incidentally this fight had the least holding of any Wlad fight I've seen under steward. Obviously Haye overdid it at times but it was a good plan overall.
Enjoyed the read. Agreed with almost all of it though a few of your conclusions were subjective and off base. I just hope the Haye fight once and for all ends the ridiculous Wlad is a robot nonsense. The athleticism and speed Wlad displayed against Haye was absolutely amazing for a man of his size.
