i think both would take money to the limits. but lenoard would be the harder to fight for floyd. im sorry but that bully style want work on floyd leonard could be the aggressor while boxing at the same time.so that might be a little harder to figgure out.

Way too great for both. The under & over rating on this board is sad. Truly sad & shows the lack of knowledge painfully

I think he loses to both, but Leonard would be cautious at first as Floyd lays traps and jabs with him at range. His upper body movement and timing would delay the success Leonard would have later on, throwing his speedy combinations behind a stepping jab. Duran wasn't a fast starter himself, but once he got inside, which is practically inevitable given Floyd's stylistic preferences, he'd have his way.

Floyd is one of the toughest fantasy match ups to figure at 147 and under because no one has been able to crack his defense and there is no style that he can't fight effectively against. Like it or not, the possibility exists that you put him in the ring with anyone and they are just as helpless to touch Floyd as any other opponent.

Floyd getting KO'd is unlikely. Duran and Leonard both went the distance with lesser fighters. Floyd has a better defense than anyone Duran or Leonard faced. Likewise it's unlikely that Floyd scores a KO for the same reason. Duran or Leonard it would be the toughest fight Floyd ever had.

My first inclination is to think that Floyd has an easier time with Duran because I think all in all SRL was a better fighter. That being said Duran may have the stamina to pressure Floyd for 12 or 15 rounds and Leonard's style may be easier for Floyd to figure out.

Either way, I don't see a fantasy match-up between 130 and 147 between a Prime Floyd Mayweather and any fighter where Mayweather does not have a chance to win. No one is all wrong for Floyd, because he may be the smartest and most versatile boxer in history. He makes in ring adjustments better than any other fighter ever.

The worst possible matchup I think is Hearns. Hearns' height and reach will give anyone problems at 147 and Floyd just doesn't have the power like Leonard to hurt Hearns with a single shot. The question is can he stay close to Tommy without getting killed in the process. We've seen him do it with other fighters for limited periods of time, but he would have to do it with Hearns whenever he was trying to land a punch.

I don't think Floyd's skills transfer as well to 154. The two fights he had at 154 were his toughest along with Castillo. Floyd's power isn't as effective at 154 and without the power on his counters, his defense suffers. His opponents stay close and rough him up like De La Hoya and Cotto. IMO Floyd is a top 5 ATG at 147 and from what he has shown, he is not an ATG at 154. If he has additional fights at 154 -- say he completely crucifies Martinez, my thinking would change.

This guy thinks the only people he fought were Hearns, Hagler and Leonard ( all better than anyone Floyd fought by the way ). Just cos you aint heard of the other fighters doesnt mean they werent big fights.

135 DeJesus had the balls to go after Duran I think Dejesus could of beaten many great lightweights that night. Still a close fight. At 135 Floyd looked very beatable especially vs Castillo. Its 50/50 @135, but I'd pick Duran by SD15. 147 Duran destroys Floyd and it would be one sided Duran UD. 154 Duran wasn't the effective brawler anymore he became more technical with alot of jabs, but still had a deadly right hand, tho here I think Floyd might of had the advantage and counter him most of the fight, but he'd still have trouble with Duran's jab, beard, and occasional right. Even a slower, flabby Duran at 154 overpowers Floyd and Floyds best shot doesn't do **** to Duran and I think still gives Floyd the toughest, most hellish fight of his life. A bloodied, battered Floyd wins by SD @154. The few punches landed by Duran rock Floyd bad. Cotto would be nothing compared to Duran even at 154.

    Loaded question.

He beats Duran 8/10 times and Leonard 7/10 times.

Floyd doesn't beat Leonard and his only chance against Duran is at 147 or 154 when Duran has an off day.

Floyd can't beat Leonard or Duran at their best at 135 or 147 though. Both guys have been proven and tested against fighters of a level that Floyd has little to no exerience with.

Leonard has the hand speed and the know-how to outwork Floyd from the outiside, he's just too smart to fall for Floyds crafty little tricks often enough. Duran is one of the few boxers in the history of the sport who I would guarantee would be able to outdo Floyd on the inside, I see Duran mauling him on the inside as he is undoubtedly one of the best at that. Pot shotting in the way that Floyd does is not going to be enough to keep Roberto off him for 12 rounds.

I don't see either stopping Mayweather though, just getting wide UDs.
