Why was Keith Thurman innactive for a year?

    i noticed the announcers mention that he was innactive for a year but i must have missed them explain why?

    I think i read somewhere it was an injury but im not sure i dont remember where i read it at?

    I read that Thurman had been sidelined with a bruised ego.

    However, that injury seems completely cured at this point. :cool:

    so it takes a whole year to recover from a hand injury? makes me wonder about floyds 2 year "retirement"....
