Oscar was 165? Cmon  Almost as absurd as Floyd being 160 for the Marquez bout.

We are forgetting Mayweather was not prime either when they fought. It's easy to play the would have, should have, could have game in hindsight, but to be fair why don't we just say prime for prime who wins, eventhough their primes were at different times and weight classes.

I agree with this but think Mayweather was a Beast at 140.

So I feel the best weight for this fight to Happen is

    140.

Now we seen Floyd there against Gatti and he was awesome probably the best attacking version of Floyd Ive seen.

And we have seen Dela Hoya at 140 against JC Chavez and he was awesome.

But after much consideration and seeing the style were a Old Oscar gave Floyd huge problems.

I fit Prime Dela Hoya would make Floyd taste Canvas.

I feel the same if Mayweather and Trinidad met at 147.

I feel the same if Whitaker met Floyd at 135.

Floyd never match's up well against the Greater fighters in Fantasy match up's its just the way it is and all we can go by is footage.

Great analogy man. Even at 140 I'd take Oscar due to the same boxing ability he showed at 147, not much changed except he lost power (which doesn't help Floyd at 140)

I still cant believe this many voted for PBF.

If he faced this version of Dela Hoya he would get whooped.

Its the internet age where they only know things from 2003 and on. Those were insane combos man and not many at 140 could handle that jab and hook. A BEAST.

Floyd has awesome skills we all seen this but the fact that Dela Hoya looked good against him because of style and his age. I posted some Tube footage to show just how quick Oscar's hands were back then. Aswell he would give Floyd nightmares as back then he just kept coming forward.

In the 2nd Chavez fight he even fought Chavez's fight and stood toe 2 toe with him and he couldnt take it.

Like Ive said even with all Floyd's talent he would really struggle against Oscar in his Prime.

Oscar was a beast that had skill and could box as he was a fantastic amateur.

The best Oscar ever was in the Tito fight and in the first Chavez fight where he boxed wonderfully. I'd favour those over any version of Mayweather due to his better size and jab alone. Forget about his better combinations and footwork.

Iron indeed. and So did Oscar :deal

Funny people always say "Chavez was washed up" yet he didn't lose a fight for another 5 or 6 years when he just didn't give a damn anymore. Sorry but those streaks don't go on when you're "shot". They just don't.
