Margarito was knocked down in 9 rounds more times than Oscar was in 24 rounds by Shane.

Jones had insane athleticism, but he failed a drug test so he is irrelevant. However, he has always had a glass chin and as a result he is being sparked all over the globe by decent fighters and being dropped by feather fisted polaks.

But let's NOT turn this into a RJJ thread like every other chin thread does.

You Forgot Iron Chins Marciano and Merser, McCall should be number 1 he took some shots from Lewis in their rematch and just continued having his breakdown.

Good soild list hard to argue but for me Lamotta the beating he took form Robinson in the St Valentina day massacre fight and he didnt go down against the p4p greatness fighter who ever lived, its hard not to put him near the top

    Yeah I agree with FM219.

McCall's chin was disrespectful to the punches of big Heavyweights. He wouldnt even move.
SRR also deserves a mention, this dude was never properly knocked out in his entire career despite facing some real tough punchers

doesnt tell the whole story. Cotto lasted 12 and took some bombs, that doesnt mean he got the same chin.

    Margo took a pummeling.

Lamotta got TKO'd by Robinson, but his chin is still rediculously good.

I dont think LaMotta was ever knocked down against SRR even on st.valentines day massacre. Correct me if wrong though

But i still think LaMottas chin is better than Antonio's

Take a look at the other guy's chin on the list aove Lamotta. Look at Marion Wilson's. A horrifically tough chin. Tua and Gavilan too. Gavilan was stopped by Robinson how many times? None. Only dropped twice ever by 2 HUGE hitters.

Not arguing with the list its a good list, i such think Lamotta chin was prob the best ever Ring rated it so in an edition back in the 80's and watching his old fights and seeing him facing a ton of big puncher's and stay up just makes me respect the guy a ton its a very good list through and i know what ur saying about if u move somebody up who moves down etc

Absolutely, Lamotta's chin was probably his best asset, along with conditioning.
