http://www.rds.ca/boxe/chroniques/344928.html Guy who knock out Ismail Sillakh in the 8 th round. If I remember he was losing most of the rounds... Aggressive and a puncher but is it a good enough come back fight for Bute ?
Understandable fight Bootay needs a chump he can beat comfortably, in order to rebuild his lost confidence
that's not a comeback fight, that's a test against a young and hungry fighter. why would Bute risk his March rematch and all that $$$ with this guy?
Horrible comeback fight for Bute. Man......Im one of his biggest fans and I want to see him KO a puncher in his next fight, but Grachev.....he's green...rated only because he landed a lucky R hand hand on a green Sillakh. This kid Grachev is slow. Plodding. His power is OK, but he had Sillakh on jelly legs and couldnt put him away with 20 straight shots. There is NOTHING positive coming out of this fight, except, maybe Grachev gets a decent payday for winning his Sillakh fight.:rofl:rofl:rofl
I've only seen the one fight of Grachev and he wasn't overly impressive. He was tough and kept trying until he was able to catch Sillakh and that was a nice win for him but he is limited and Bute should win handily. I think Grachev is a full lightheavy so I wonder if this fight will be 168 or something higher. Not an overly interesting fight but Bute should be able to get some work in while keeping his rematch with Froch alive.
Not a bad fight but I would prefer obliviously Pavlik, Oosthuizen or Stevenson(he called Bute many times)
Perhaps. But I think Bute's array of effecitive punches, and overall punching power is much better than Sillakh's imo.
The only surprise is that it wasn't Allen Greene. Disgraceful, but not in the least surprising.Same old same old.
