Y'all are all trippin. Go order a Morales career dvd set. You'll finally realize that Morales was on a different level in the H2H sense. If I could go back with one of those 3 mexican fighters into the classic eras of boxing, I'd bring Morales with me, not Barrera, not Marquez.
1. Morales 2. JMM 3. Barrera i have no problem if someone puts MAB ahead of JMM as long as EM is at the top :deal
No. Barrera beat him 3x and even a shot Barrera was robbed against Marquez. Fact is though, Marquez was ducked by a lot of people early on and came good when given the chance. Barrera is a left handed orthadox, so naturally same as ODLH, he's poor against southpaws. Jones never TKO'd Barrera, only Pacquiao did. A lot of people bring up the winning gloves against Morales, but I don't believe in all of that. For me, they're all about the same but head to head Barrera had both their numbers.
Morales in my book in his prime was great but in his last 3 fights proved his warrior spirit has past since it shows he's scared of getting ko again the way pac did to him. I laugh at ppl saying gloves dont matter. If it doesnt then why morales forced fighters to wear the same gloves he wears thats winning gloves? Heck if gloves dont matter then lets all tell the fighters on twitter, for now on wear winning gloves.
1-Barrera (Beat Morales three times IMO) 2-Morales(Close second) 3-JMM (lives of his performances against pac,his overall resume is clearly bellow the other two).
someone needs to educate me on morales towards the mid to end of his carreer controversiol or not he lost the big fights also, i can only see contenders and journey men in his early to mid fights let the hate begin!
Sorry TT,but I always pass on this.Barrera is my favourite of the three but it's hard to argue with anyone saying he's not #1. The three of them are amongst the greatest fighters of my lifetime and I get no pleasure from placing one above or below the other. Give peace a chance.
It's really hard to rate these three great fighters. For me I used to put Barrera #1, then Morales and then JMM. After what JMM has done so late into his career, I think he deserves to be #1. My list reads like this: #1 - JMM #2 - Morales #3 - Barrera And by the way, Barrera is my favorite of the 3
Barrera, Pacquiao, Zarragoza, Jones, McCollough, Ayala, Chavez, Hernandez are all contenders/journeymen now? :-( As for OP, i agree: Morales Barrera Marquez
Thank you finally someone with some dam sense ! How anayone can put Marquez above these 2 is beyond me ! His fights with Manny is the only thing keeping him in the convo !
