I think Benn was the bigger puncher vs bigger men,and a vicious animal in his punching. Julian was more precise and 'home run mentality' in his delivery, and needed room to punch. I think Benn is better inside, far more durable, and who relished a tear up when up against it would eat him alive at 160. Three rounds tops.
It's literally a toss of a coin imo, one month one could spark one and the next it could be the other way round. Benn's more than capable of using his great speed and power combinations to stop Jackson then Jackson's equally capable of landing one big shot then lights out for Benn
I wish this fight had happend, it would have been one exciting war! As for the result i would go for Benn, but Jackson's more than capable of pulling the KO off as well.
I think Jackson's loses to McCallum and McClellan showed his level, dangerous puncher though vulnerable himself and could be overwhelmed. Benn was extremely tough and at his best would not take a backward step although he too could be hurt so the fight would be competitive. I figure Benn is the naturally bigger man and would get to Jackson and stop him after a shootout, inside 4 rounds.
Both guys hit hard and had questionable chins. I think Jackson's reach advantage would allow him to catch Benn coming in and he would stop Benn in an early round. Benn usually fought in a kamakaze fashion in the late 80s and early 90's.
Would have been awesome.l prayed this fight would happen but alas it didn't dont know why? after Barkley and Graham respectively it seemed a natural fight to happen.Would of been fight of the year total mayhem in las Vegas .Think benn wins but could easily be Jackson.
