One of the eastern European countries, they always seem to be at the top along with Cuba. Uk have a better squad than normal but can't see them at the top. The USA amateur team is a shadow of what it used to be, they only achieved one bronze medal at the last Olympics.

Probably eastern European. Having many champs from there builds interest in the sport with the younger generation. Which results in more people trying out and a bigger pool to choose from.

I'm betting the super-heavy gold goes to Italy again though.

You forgot to mention Ukraine. They always seem to get medals in boxing.

    Yea I would say Cuba.

In Mexico they turn pro because of money and in the U.S amateur boxing isn't what it used to be especially at the olympic level.

Cuba didnt win a single Gold last olympics, nor did the USA. USA only had one medalist and that was Deontay Wilder with the Bronze

Cuba still managed 7 silver medals but still a disappointing performance. Hopefully they do better this time around.

I would imagine Cuba & Ukraine will be the top two!!

Then most in both camps to go Pro if they win gold!
