That's the easiest way to go- and it results in the least money. Nobody knows who the **** Trout or Bundrage are. Even if those are easy wins for Floyd, he probably wants more money on the way out.

And there are just three people left who guarantee him huge paydays on the way out: whoever wins Martinez/Chavez Jr., Canelo, and Manny.

He loses to both Chavez Jr. and Martinez, so he won't fight either of them. The Manny fight won't happen unless he leaves Arum. The only person who can make him a giant pile of money that he would fight that he has a good chance of victory against is Canelo. Canelo WILL be one of the last people he fights, and it could well cost him.

Ill miss Floyd in the ring. His antics outside the ring not so much.

Just hope he is consistant with his message of wanting to fight Manny . Its a fight that needs to happen .

really? he won't go up to 160 either, and neither will they come down to 154

I don't see Canelo fighting Floyd, it would be too huge a step-up considering who he has faced up to now, unless Floyd looks horrible in his next fight and Canelo's camp push for it...

forget about him fighting Manny, he does not have any reason to leave Arum, who made him so much money, neither camp wants the fight, it will go down as the biggest fight in history which never happened...

I know, but for whatever reason a lot of Floyd fans are convinced he'll go up to 160... I don't think he will because he'd lose up there, but both fights would make him tons of money. So would Manny, but as both you and me have said, there are a number of reasons that will never happen.

Canelo I think will happen though. Floyd probably sees him as a beatable opponent that would make him lots of money, and it really is a win-win situation for Canelo; if he wins, the world is his oyster; if he loses, he's just a kid and still has plenty of time to go on with a highly lucrative career.

Canelo is a much bigger challenge for Mayweather than people think though. He looks to have technically improved and honed his style every fight, and he's a big, strong Junior Middleweight that is only getting bigger. Throw in that Mayweather's not a big guy at 154, fights in a more stationary way these days, and is slowing down, and Canelo could well be able to take him in late 2013 or early 2014.

There's absolutely no reason why he should go up to 160.The guy started at super feather FFS.
It even sounds ridiculous when you put it like that.He doesn't even walk around much above 150.The whole concept is nonsense and if he moved up there and lost it would be no one's fault but his own. What an advantage to give an opponent.Would Chavez go to 150 for a catchweight? Of course not.
Martinez can get there, and Canelo is a fight we'd all like to see.The fact Floyd seems to be less mobile as Hawkfan says makes it an intriguing match up,but Floyd still has enough at this point.

Absolute joy to watch, boxing will be a far worse place without him imo. Enjoy him whilst he's still here, ESB.

It's got **** all to do with pacman & everything to do with the greatest ducker & cherrypicker of this generation for this fight no happening as you well know. His resume is just average at best & his excuses are well documented such as "Vacation" "No Urge" "$100 million" "Bob Arum" no 50/50 after agreeing to it 2+ years back, I won't risk my health:lol: :deal:deal:deal

You onl;y get credit you deserve when you man up & take on the challenges such as SRL/Duran/Hearns/Hagler ect ect & Mayweather has bugged out of any & all Meaningful challenges. He even bugged out of the DLH re-match but leapt staright back in for Hatton:lol:
