I've been wondering if anyone has Haye beating any previous/atg heavyweights? And if so who? How does he do against the rest?

Has a chance against Floyd Patterson.....that's about it.

Poor Floyd never gets any respect....I am not sold on Haye as a great or potential great....but he would give a good fight to most in the 11-25 atg range, but would likely be a dark horse under dog to beat any of them. If he went through the whole line he would certainly win a few, but lose much more frequently.

He needs to have a few more fights against top opposition before I can make a real judgement imo.

With his power he'd have a real shot against anyone without sturdy whiskers.. he is probably under rated in the grand scheme of things imo I think he's the best heavy of the era outside of the Klits.

He is an ATG cruiserweight and would probably defeat all other cruisers but Holyfield (maybe).
    Needs more fights as heavy.

    Has stamina issues.

Amazingly fast boxer, Mr patterson. Just didn't have the power to fight out of the Peek a boo style and trouble the Hard hitters...in my very humble opinion.

Agree totally with your opinion regards the 11-25 all time great range and Haye's prospects against them...altho it does depend on your own personal list....I've seen some lists positions 11-25 featuring the likes of Sonny Liston, Mike Tyson, Riddick Bowe, Max Baer etc....all of whom would destroy Haye in career ending fashion....But I give him a shot against the likes of Ken Norton(Early) Max smelling and Gene Tunney(size)

It's a funny question as Haye's power against the smaller men would cause obvious problems...but I see the likes Bonecrusher smith, Mike weaver, Tony Tucker also beating Haye well.

    Good question.
To answer this I find myself asking - who is the best heavyweight in history I'd expect Haye to beat ?

I really don't know. Anyone remotely in the "ATG" category would beat him.
I think Frank Bruno would make short work of him.
Even Bruce Seldon v David Haye would be a 50-50 type fight.

Haye v Hide, "prime for prime", might be a good fight that I'd favour Haye in. slightly.

He could seriously knock out some smaller HW champs and outspeed some slower ones

I agree. Even an ATG would be at risk without a very solid defence. I feel some of the older, smaller heavyweights who fought with their hands down by their waists could run into serious trouble early

Yeah Bruno would outbox and knockout Haye. Morrison
Cooney, Shavers, Lyle, Tua, Moorer would all the ko Haye
except for Moorer who would prob decision him. Against
Louis, Ali, Foreman, Tyson, Lewis, Bowe, Haye gets destroyed
As well. What has Haye done ay hw? Outpointed a past prime
Valuev? Fringe contenders of 70s 80s 90s would demolish
Haye. I thought he had a shot against Wlad, but he didn't
go for it until the last round. Haye could beat bums and
    blown up cruisers.
