Well in a way they are right, Peter is a very flawed, incomplete fighter (B is probably a good description of his status). The fact this guy made Klitschko ( aprime, Steward era one) fight terrified, knocked him down three times etc is really a good reason for them to hate him.
I generally lose respect for guys who open their mouths too much, which is why my like/respect for Peter has dropped. That I am a Wlad fan really doesn't have anything to do with this - although I don't make hating posts. If a guy is going to talk a huge talk, he had BETTER back it up with his fists. So far Peter hasn't done that. His antics while being given a belt that isn't a real championship about made me sick. Guys who can back it up I'm okay with. If Bernard beats Joe I won't get upset over his mouth anymore because he will have proven to me that he really has the goods (although I think he'll lose by decision). High-profile guys who don't open their mouths at all I really like. Pavlik and Klitschko both seem to be genuinely nice guys so I'd like them for that even if they both got knocked out after this. Cotto is much the same way. I'm not a huge fan of his but because he usually just fights and leaves the talking to others I'm okay with him. He's only made a couple comments about Mayweather and it seems like he was goaded into that.
Everyone says Wlad was terrified against Peter. Why? Wlad fought the guy, beat him up and had him out on his feet in round 12. If I remember, I saw a pic of Wlad eating whoopers at BK after the fight while Peter ate baby food. Yet everyone says Wladimir fought him scared. That doesn't make sense to me. Wladimir fought him a bit cautiously especially after he started getting clubbed on the back of the head like a baby seal, but hey, who wouldn't watch themselves in a fight with a guy that's throwing illegal punches repeatedly, with no warning from the ref? I think Peter fought scared when he realized he couldn't win so he started throwing illegal punches.
96 clinches over 12 rounds. And he still got decked 3 times. That tells you he was scared. Point blank.

I don't hate Peter. I think he's one of the best in history. An overwhelming combination of Ali, Shavers, Tua, Tyson with a pinch of Floyd Mayweather. He took the best they had (or have) minus their flaws.
I'm not really a Wlad fan but I think that my biggest beef with the peter fight is that Peter never gave Wlad credit for the win. instead he cried about it like a little ***** and seems to think that beating Maskaev will somehow make him a champion when the guy that spanked him is still out there unifying
A lot of people (who aren't Wlad huggers), one being myself, are pretty tired of this Scam Cheater hype and ready for Oleg to end it, since Jameel McCline no balls couldn't do it.
I dont hate him,but hated how when he was coming up,people in the know were calling him the new tyson,and so was expecting a huge ko artist,and then when i saw him it was obviously bollocks,also having just reseen the mccline fight,if oleg hits him like mccline did,i dont think he will get back up,gonna be a good fight hopefully.
