1.Roy Jones-incredible mastery of range and timing. Peerless footwork and punch selection. Absolutely flawless fighter at his peak
2.Whitaker -Only below Jones because Whitaker was less varied offensively. Also a terrific inside fighter.
3.Ray Leonard- Masterful footwork and timing. Could throw every combination in the book.
4.Muhammad Ali- Has the 2nd best footwork on this list. Only lower because he was not as skilled offensively as those above him
    5. Floyd Mayweather- The most versatile on the list. Can go from slick pot shotter to stalking pressure fighter in a split second. Makes terrific adjustments in the ring. Great understanding of range. If his punches were more varied and his footwork a bit less sloppy, he'd be #2 IMO.

It would depend on your opinion of what "skilled" means...

The ability to hit and not be hit??? Roy is right at the top.

It's mostly boxers on these lists. I don't think I see a single slugger, puncher, and brawler. We have about 2-3 swarmers.

    Few mentions of Duran.

I was expecting Hagler to pop up a little more, along with names like Langford, Charles, Burley etc.

    5. Duran

This is tough. SRR had it all but hes not No.1 on this list

    Leonard (mesmerising)
    Ali (the greatest)
pep (1 round none thrown by him..................none landed on him!!)
    Mayweather (no nut hugging. ATG)
Robinson (what can i say. front foot and back foot with angles)
    Arguello (nice guy. nicer footwork)
sweat Pea (a pleasure to watch the tapes. slickness)
    Hearns (off a jab...........text book)
James Toney (better skills than jones. jones as a better fighter though)
jones (athletisim allowed him to maximise skill set)

Tough though. Not my p4p but my skills p4p

you put Hearns as well? he's no where near the top ten. in fact, he's not in the top 60-70.

can't be bothered to do a list.
