    Which ones do you pick?

    You have 5 free passes on a time machine to go to any time or place in history to see the fights of your choice... Just punch in a date and off you go....


    You are going to a venue at a certain date, so you can see all undercard matches, so if there's two (or more) fights on the same card, you can stay for all of them.

    You've been outfitted with appropriate attire for the time/place and have both walking-around money and ringside seat tickets....


    I'm sure I'll be envious of some other picks, but these would be mine:



    5-23-1922 - Greb vs Tunney I - I just want to see Greb in a great performance against another great.

    8-4-47 - Williams vs Montgomery II - Williams exacting revenge against the guy who dominated Willams 3 years earlier...

    7-4-10 - Johnson vs Jeffries - Just to feel the tension and hear the jeers of the crowd. Perhaps the greatest display of nuts ever getting into that ring.

    1-13-48 - Charles vs Moore III - Self-explanatory why I would want to see this...

    3-8-71 - Frazier vs Ali I - The event, the electricity, the two undefeated champions. I love this fight. I'd want to be there live.

    8/3/1971 - Frazier vs Ali I (I'd actually go back in time to watch live all fights of Joe Frazier, but this would be my no.1 priority)

    18/5/2002 - Gatti vs Ward I

    22/06/1938 - Louis vs Schmelling II

    This would be my top 3, I'm not 100% decided on the other 2.

    Zivic vs armstrong...Tunney vs Dempsey I...jeffries vs Corbett...Billy graham vs Kid Gavilan III (is that the real controversial one?)...Charley Burley vs Archie Moore. To see how good Burley was, and to see how much smarter Moore would become.

    1-25- 1944 Bobcat Montgomery vs Ike Williams (although at this point I would love to see Montgomery vs jack or Zivic since i can't find any footage....heck I wouldn't even mind seeing Angott and why he presented such a tough puzzle for Montgomery)

    Put me down for John L. Sullivan vs. Kilrain for starters -- might as well get my money's worth as far as number of rounds, and I've been in that area of Mississippi in the July heat and it's hard to imagine standing outside for 75 rounds, much less fighting in it.

    Duran-Leonard I.

    Robinson-Turpin I.

    Douglas-Tyson.


    This way I get to see fights in the 1800s, the 1950s, the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s -- and in five different countries. I get to see historic fights, ATGs and see the world and different eras as the sport and the world evolve.
