Anyone think Aydin won?

Not sure if I had too many drinks or what, but I was way off compared to the judges cards.

I don't care that Guerrero landed 70 or so more punches. It looked as if none of Guerrero's punches did anything to Aydin and all of Aydins punches meant something. I'll admit Aydin is not a sound technique fighter, but I thought he did well.

Aydin's punches were def harder.................... but Guerrero's started doing work by the tenth round.... Aydin was a little more tired, the pucnhes started taking their toll.. and the crowd went crazy which made RG use adrenline and fight harder.. so the punches landed harder at that point... Aydin would have won if he was smarter and clawed on the inside more.. and he kept giving Guerrero small breaks.. it was obvious Aydiin had the advantage when he overwhelmed Guerrerro.. but hey, RG fought smart (for some parts) and he 'earnt' that victory.. I think RG won that joint

I was giving him huge props for those vicious body shots he was landing ALL night. But some of the early rds he was throwin like 30 punches to Guerreros 100 or so? Kinda hard to score a rd for him when thats the case but i thought it was fairly close. Def some ring rust in Guerrero too but Aydin should have picked it up sooner.

nah....Tho he did have som big ass gloves!

& Guerrero performance was nothing special either, just throwing more tired looking useless punches to steal points victory.

Aydin defo deserves major credit & I agree with his post fight frustration.
Something to the effect of 3 years worth of being pushed to the side has taken a toll on him. (All the ducks)

Aydin said that he was seeing double after the 4th rd...
    Butt or punches?? Never said.

Guererro out worked Aydin early on, Selcuk came on strong in the championship rds but by then Robert had already put in the work.

Those 2-3 super hard rights to the body he landed on Robert almost folded him over.

I'm glad I picked this deep underdog to win. He gave a real good showing.

Robert also had more heart than I initially thought he did. It was suspect because of that Yordan fight.

    8-4 or 7-5 Guerrero.

    Judges were spot on.

Aydin is a good boxer, but he couldn't finish tonight. He has good potential.

Nah Aydin's Euro Syle lost him the fight. He was the bigger man. He should have pressed Guerrero from the beginning.

I don't know why most Euro's like this style of covering up and throwing as little punches as possible.

Its pretty clear (thanks to Abraham and Huck who does the same ****) that it doesn't work on American Boxers. Unless your shot to pieces like Jermain Taylor.

Aydin, for as limited a fighter as he is fought a tough fight, and the scores were stupid. I had Guerrero up by one round. SHOWTIME was doing everything in their power to build up Guerrero. He deserves a lot of credit in his personal life, and he showed tremendous character for dealing with his wife's and family situation, but as a fighter, he doesn't belong with those top welterweights or the champions. Aydin was hitting him all night with power punches and hurting him to the body. That fight was a lot closer than what those corrupt judges had it scored. Fighters need to stop going into other fighters home town regardless of the money because they will never get a fair deal. All bull****. Just watch what happns ro Chad Dawson when he goes to Oakland to take on home town boy Andre ward. He doesn't have a chance unless he knocks ward out.:smoke:smoke:smoke:smoke:smoke:smoke:smoke:smoke:smoke:smoke

lol remember when Zbik out landed Chavez jr. buy a substantial about of punches

    Total Punches Zbik Chavez
    Landed 391 256

and it was the fact that Chavez's punches were "more effective" well **** that! Chavez lost plain and simple, I'm not holding it against a guy if he's feather fisted, the facts are the facts. 8-4 for Zbik, **** the politics we know who won. a brilliant fighter took a young chavez to school.

You have a serious lack of intelligence.

RG beat Aydin because he is a better boxer, nothing to do with his 'euro style' watch Wlad vs Thompson for an example of a better boxer using his 'euro style' boxing to dominate an American fighter.

I had Guerrero up 8-4 at the end.
