Matt your without doubt the best amateur boxing analyst on ESB, and it's great to see you posting on here.:deal

Two Irish golds and a bronze would be superb Matt. Nevin was maybe the most impressive fighter on display yesterday, althought his opponent suited John Joes style.
Is there a full boxing shedule on line somewhere, because thats a excellent breakdown of all the weights and I wouldn't mind doing my own.:bbb

Hi Bigric - just saw your forum message as I was checking out what East Side fans were making of the boxing. Funnily enough, I have x2 Category B tickets for the BX009 session (1.30pm on 1 August, when John Joe Nevin is live). I kind of had the reverse reaction to you - excited about the boxing, but a bit disappointed I'm not getting to see any GB boxers in action (in this session anyway).

Just leaving a message on the off chance you might want to do a straight swap of BX009 for BX010? If so, you can email me at alex[dot]reid@sport-magazine.co.uk or message me @otheralexreid. If not; no problem whatsoever. Hope you enjoy the evening session and I'll happily cheer on Nevin - though I fear this Lazaro Alvarez will be man to beat at bantam!

Why would you have respect for boxers outside the ring when you dont even know them.Thats **** talk.I respect NJ for ability in the ring but what I cant stand is the arrogance of thinking she is the best in the weight and because its a home games she deserves the gold.

Go over to BBC and press the red button. They have the whole session on there.
