Was there a point to the interim belt last nite

    WBC hands out an interim since Floyd the WBC champ is in jail

    Interims usually are handed out when a guys absent and then the fight happens between champ and interim when the champs better

    Floyd and Manny never fight mandatorys i dont know why the WBC and WBO bothered to have rankings at welter

    just why i saw the interim title last nite as pointless Floyds not fighting either of these 2 guys so its just a wasted belt

    It's pretty likely that Mayweather the WBC welterweight champion has out grown the weight.

    More than likely Mayweather will vacate the welterweight belt.
    Better fights @154lbs. Where he also holds the WBA.

    He's going to drop one of them... Don't Trout hold the interim WBA?

    Depends what Floyd decides, But the Org's need their dues... lol

    If you think there's only an interim belt because a champion is out of action I'll have some of what you're drinking and I only wish things were as pure as you suggest.
